2. The nominee can be a male or female.
3. The nominee cannot be a previous Isaac Conroe Citizen of the Year winner.
4. The person must be a person in good moral standing that has contributed their time, efforts and or resources helping to make Conroe a better place.

Isaac Conroe, founding father of Conroe built this house, a sawmill and brought a railroad stop to the area now known as Downtown Conroe. He passed away on August 2nd, 1897. The house is located at 202 Avenue A and now serves as the City of Conroe’s Transit Department offices. Did you know that Conroe, TX is the only "Conroe" in the world?
The City of Conroe's rich history is celebrated each year at the house of the Historic Isaac Conroe Homestead. The Historic Isaac Conroe House is now housing the City of Conroe's transportation offices. " The home served as a temporary Montgomery County Courthouse and US Post Office with Isaac Conroe being the Postmaster General.
